Unopened Bell Brand Koufax Highlights Huggins and Scott’s December 2013 Auction
Huggins and Scott’s sixth and final Masterpiece Auction of 2013 begins on Monday December 2md with the bidding closing on Thursday night December 12th with the 30-minute rule beginning at 11:00pm eastern time.
This auction features another amazing array of sports and non-sports items that caters to every level of collector and investor. This auction is headlined by a tremendous 1960 Bell Brand Sandy Koufax, still in it’s unopened cellophane packaging.
Vintage card collectors will enjoy an abundance of pre-and-post war rarities including professionally graded and raw examples of cards from a variety of designations, including an E102 Christy Mathewson PSA 6, a T206 Ty Cobb (Bat Off) with a scarce Factory 42 reverse SGC 60, an 1887 Kalamazoo Bats Smiling Al Maul SGC 30, a wonderful collection of PSA graded T200 Fatima Team Cards, numerous graded T205s and T206s from a new-to-the-hobby collection, Goudey Ruth’s and much more.
The post-war collection is substantial as well with a large number of complete and near sets from 1948-1973; Hall of Fame rookie cards including Mantle, Mays, Koufax, Clemente, Rose, Ryan and many more. As always, we also present a plethora of wonderful “shoebox” collections (always a crowd favorite).
